Frederic Fekkai has had a long-standing reputation as a luxury haircare brand with notability in the beauty community. When it was time to launch The One line, we had to find some star power that would get the beauty world’s attention more than Fekkai already has. The One line highlights the different types of hairstyles from color-treated to frizzy and has a shampoo and conditioner to work with every hair type.
When customers come to the Fekkai salons, they’re getting grade A treatment, so we wanted to align the brand with a partner that would reflect the kind of target consumer who would realistically spend the kind of money on Fekkai products and services so we looked to Lo Bosworth, popular lifestyle blogger and TV personality.
With the self-care movement being all the rage, Lo was a great choice and it helped that she had a blog we were able to incorporate into our media plan. We asked Lo to do social media posts along with blogposts to supplement our strategy and go more in-depth with the benefits of the line.
Lo’s blog posts about Fekkai received an average of 3,000 views each. When it came to social media (specifically Instagram), we saw a 43% spike in engagements when Lo mentioned Fekkai in her posts.
